Monsignor McClancy’s Hannah Finnerty Commits to D 1 Siena Hoops

After receiving a number of Division II college hoops offers, Hannah Finnerty, a senior combo guard at Monsignor McClancy (N.Y.), has recently verbally committed to Division I Siena (N.Y.) Women’s basketball program, per her high school’s Tweet.

McClancy High School’s Hannah Finnerty commits to Siena Women’s Hoops.

Finnerty average 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists along with 2.5 steals with her the AAU NYC Heat squad this past season. She also averaged 20 points in six games with the Lady Crusaders during the CHSAA year.

Furthermore, McClancy Head Coach Dewey Hopkins said the 6-foot Woodside, Queens, resident has a realistic shot at reaching the 1000-point high school scoring milestone this campaign, even with the truncated COVID-19 season.

Siena posted a 4-9 overall record and went 3-8 in Metro Atlantic Association Conference (MAAC) action last year.
