Class of 2023 forward Maya Watts, who plays for Arlington High School (N.Y.) and just finished up her final AAU season with Hoopers NY, has verbally committed to Cornell Women’s basketball program, today her AAU Coach Dan Melious Tweeted.
A 6-foot-3 rising senior, Watts also held offers from Western Alabama and Colgate, among others.
Big Red posted a 9-16 record and went 4-10 in Ivy League Conference action in the 201-22 campaign.
