Sophomore guard Juliana Rodriguez and junior forward Elizabeth Bennett scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, to help lead St. Joseph Hill Academy girls’ basketball team past Cardinal Spellman, 64-31, in the Bronx on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Faye Vidal and junior guard Madison Crocco contributed nine points apiece. Junior point guard Michele Chawhan dropped in eight points.
Crocco also made five steals and Bennett and 6-foot-1 sophomore stretch four Tara Murphy added nine rebounds each.
The Koalas (11-3) travel to Brooklyn on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. to face Fontbonne Hall Academy.
