Senior Guard Mat Shea of Wallkill Senior High School (NY) has received an offer from Division II Nyack College (NJ), yesterday Warriors Head Coach Hunter Andrews Tweeted.
Additionally, the 6-foot-5 Shea, a rising senior guard, has been gaining D I interest from NJIT, Bryant, Robert Morris, BU, Delaware, among other colleges, according to sources.
There is every reason to believe that Shea’s college recruitment will heat up as Coach Andrews Tweeted that he possesses the necessary intangibles to be successful at hoops: “Team-first, humble, unwavering work ethic, and an amazing young man.”
Nyack posted a 4-5 overall record and went 4-4 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action this past season.
