Hofstra Men’s Hoops Offers Dominican Republic Native, Victory Christian’s Lewis Duarte


Victory Christian (NC) guard Lewis Duarte yesterday has received an offer from Hofstra Men’s Basketball program, per multiple Tweets.

Lewis Duarte earns his 17th Division I College Hoops offer.

A rising senior, Duarte owns offers from Big East schools such as Creighton and St. John’s. Plus, schools the likes of Fordham, Wichita State, South Carolina, Rutgers, Oral Roberts, Tennessee State, Washington State, Mississippi State, Southern Utah, Illinois, Pacific, GCU, New Mexico, and South Alabama.

The 6-foot-5,185-pound Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native describes himself as a high-octane player with an eruptive style on the hardwood, that makes everyone else on his team just better.

The Pride put up a 13-10 overall record and went 8-6 in Colonial Athletic Association play this past season.
