Ever since Ardsley High School (NY) combo guard Nicole Sanfillippo decommitted from Syracuse a few weeks ago, she has received offers from Hofstra, Florida Southern, University of Texas, and Northeastern, with Longwood Univeristy coming in today, AAU Hoopers NY Head Coach told BrooklynSportsWorld.com.
Additionally, Melious said St Bonaventure, Miami of Ohio, and George Washington are in talks with the rising senior.
Moreover, Sanfillippo has been business as usual on the hardwood. This past weekend with her AAU Hoopers squad, the 5-foot-9 sharpshooter out of Westchester, N.Y., averaged 16.1 ppg, seven rpg, five apg, and sank 90 percent from the charity stripe.
“Nicole is a gamer, tough kid, she plays with so much heart, and is a leader,” Melious said. “She’s everything anyone would want in a player and a person. She’s special.”
