Luke Hughen of Jefferson Township High School (NJ) boy’s soccer team today announced he has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at the College of Saint Elizabeth (NJ), per the school’s athletic Twitter feed.
Hughen, a senior goalkeeper, made 39 saves against 14 markers this past campaign, with a a season-best seven stops in a 3-2 loss to Dover back in November.
Hughen played sparingly as a netminder during his previous seasons at JTHS, but stepped up big time in net this year, pitching six shutouts out of 14 games.
The 132-pound Hughen also wrestles for the Falcons.
Saint Elizabeth is a Division III college that plays in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC).
