Archbishop Stepinac High School small forward Isaiah Alexander has garnered an offer from the University of Pennsylvania Men’s Basketball program, yesterday the Crusaders’ hoops program Tweeted.
Additionally, Alexander owns offers from Mount St. Mary’s and Western Illinois.
The 6-foot-7 junior transferred from Bethlehem Catholic High School in PA to Stepinac this year.
Alexander is long, athletic, and physical, with the ability to defend well and soar above the rim. Though he possesses good size, he candle handle the rock with skill, and his jumper is ever-improving.
The Quakers posted a 16-11 overall mark and went 8-6 in Ivy League play last season.
Note: As Stepinac awaits word from the New York City Department of Health for NYC Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) teams to start playing, today it announced a Best-of-Seven series versus Iona Prep, starting next Friday, February 26th.
