Gifted NY Guard Nicole Sanfilippo Gets Offers from 2 D-1 Hoop Programs

5-foot-9 combo guard Nicole Sanfilippo of Ardsley High School (NY) and the AAU Hoopers NY has picked up two Division I college basketball offers from University of Texas-Arlington and Hawaii, today Hoopers NY 17U Head Coach Dan Melious Tweeted.

Sanfilippo drained 18 points, grabbed three rebounds, and dished out three assists per game with Ardsley in the 2019-20 campaign.

For the Hoopers NY, the dynamic player continued her high-level of play with 16.8 points, 7.1 boards, 5.5 assists, and 3.4 steals per contest in 123 games, which began on June 23rd. Plus, she has made an astronomical 94 percent of her foul shots.

Many girl’s high school insiders feel the talented junior is not likely finished with improving her performance on the court while receiving more college offers in the future.

Hawaii finished with a 16-14 record and went 9-7 in the Big West Conference, while Texas-Arlington posted a 21-11 mark and went 14-4 in Sun Belt Conference (SBC) action last season.
