Adam Silas, a point guard for St. Thomas Aquinas (NJ) and on the AAU NY Jayhawks’ squad, has received a scholarship offer from the Hofstra Men’s Basketball program, he Tweeted today.
The Pride is Silas’ first Division I offer.
The 6-foot-2 Silas, a junior, played with Marist High School in Bayonne last season, dropping in 141 points, grabbing 30 rebounds, and dishing out 30 assists while making 32 steals in 16 contests.
Hofstra recorded a 26-8 record, captured the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championship with a 70-61 win over Northeastern, and earned an NCAA Tournament bid in the 2019-20 campaign.
