Trenton Catholic’s Aalyah Del rosario is one of the top rising sophomore female basketball players in New Jersey, if not the nation, and today South Carolina made her an offer, her high school announced on Twitter.
Nationally ranked by ESPNW HoopGurlz, Del rosario drained 306 points and grabbed 301 rebounds in 26 games in the NJ girls high school 2019-20 hoops season, which was good for a 11.8 points and 11.6 rebounds average per contest. She also added 28 steals.
The 6-foot-5 post player is nearly unstoppable down low, balling like an old school center who plays fiercely with her back to the basket.
Additionally, Del rosario finishes well in traffic, and is a prolific rebounder, as her aforementioned numbers indicate.
Del rosario helped lead the Lady Iron Mikes to a 28-1 record.
Look for bigger things to come for, and from, the dominate hoopster.
