New York, N.Y. — Baruch College Campus High School basketball head coach Steve Podias knew his team would be up against a tough squad in host Lab Museum United Monday night.
Therefore, the Blue Devils Bearcats would need to answer the bell with an impressive effort in order to come away with the win. Baruch College High School (4-0) did just that, as senior forward Dante Conley-Leonardi led the charge with a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds en route to a 79-66 victory over the Gators (6-2) in a PSAL Manhattan Central Class B Boys’ game.
Senior Foward Qiuqi Lin contributed 13 points and seven boards while Jackson Zheng, another senior, added 11 points. Sophomore David Heller was the second Blue Devils Bearcats to record a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Baruch College High School will host Julia Richmond Wednesday night at 4:30 p.m.
