Saint Paul Saints get ready for 2020 season with three more players added to roster.
St. Louis selected Chinea in the 17th round of the 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of LSU and spent all but the final two games of that season at the Rookie Level with Johnson City. He hit .313 with six home runs and 27 RBI in 44 contests. In 160 at bats he scored 19 runs, had 11 doubles, one triple, a .356 on base percentage, and a .506 slugging percentage for an .863 OPS.
The 27-year-old Max Murphy was on fire for the first part of the 2019 season, slugging .343 with 17 home runs, 43 RBI, 13 doubles, and one triple.
The American Association season will run from July 3-September 10 with a Championship Series, consisting of the top two teams from the regular season, to follow in a best-of-five game format starting on Saturday, September 12, and ending no later than Thursday, September 17.
