After four football games, the PSAL’s City Conference best offensive and special teams players are rising to the top, putting up solid numbers while helping to pace their respective teams to victories.

Here are the players on the PSAL’s football leader boards:

Rushing Yards

Senior New Utrecht running back Brandon Jones has complied an impressive 596 yards thus far.

Rushing Touchdowns

Jones (New Utrecht), who is off to an awesome start, leads the league with nine scores.

Curtis senior Ty Son Lawton has five, while Flushing senior Aaron Johnston also has five.

The Tottenville Pirates have two in junior Michael Jones (6) and sophomore Roland Dempster (5).

Canarsie senior quarterback Sameer Akesson has crossed the goal line four times.

The Midwood Hornets have two, with sophomore Tyrese Weeks and senior Tyshawn Young hitting pay dirt four times each.

Lincoln senior Gibbs Seraphin has recorded four, while Erasmus senior Shamar Logan also has four.

Receiving Touchdowns

South Shore Vikings senior Marvensky Christopher is atop of the PSAL with ten.

Successful Field Goals

  1. your numbers are ALL WRONG!!!!!

4 is the number of games played and not the number of touchdowns or receptions!

do not use chrome to view the stats on the psal website, they display incorrectly, use IE instead.
