Ex-SI FerryHawk Hurler Rejoins MLB with the Milwaukee Brewers

Former Staten Island FerryHawk right-handed pitcher Julio Teheran has signed a $1.5 million dollar, with $1 million dollar in incentives deal with the Milwaukee Brewers, yesterday New York Post baseball columnist Jon Hayman Tweeted.

Juilo Teheran rejoins MLB with the Brewers.

Teheran appeared in his first game with the Brewers last night, giving up one earned run on five hits with five strike outs across five innings, in a losing effort.

The Detroit Tigers signed Teheran to a minor league contract with an invite to spring training, but he elected free agency after that.

The 32-year-old spent some time with Staten Island and posted a 1-1 record while striking out 35 batters in six appearances across 33.2 innings of work before joining the Mexican League last season.

Teheran owns a MLB career mark of 78-78 over 11 seasons in the Big Leagues.
