Anquan Boldin, Jr., an IMG Academy guard and son of former NFL star wide receiver Anquan Boldin senior, has verbally committed to Division I University at Buffalo Mens’ basketball program, today he Tweeted.
Also, the 6-foot-5, 180-pound Boldin held offers from Barry, Lynn, Albany State, Metro State, Manhattan and Eastern Michigan. according to VerbalCommits.com.
The football Boldin played 14 seasons for four NFL teams, including the Cardinals and Ravens. He had 1,076 catches for 13,779 yards and scored 83 touchdowns. He also was a three-time Pro Bowler.
Additionally, he captured the Offensive Year and the Walter Payton Man of the Year Awards. Boldin also won a Super Bowl (XLVII) with the Ravens, in which he grabbed six receptions for a total of 104 yards with a touchdown.
The Bulls posted a 15-17 overall record and went 9-9 in Mid-American Conference Tournament (MAC) action.
