Former Stetson forward Wheza Panzo is transferring to Division I Iona College Gaels Men’s basketball program, yesterday he Tweeted.
The 6-foot-7, 200-pound Mississauga, Canada, native previously held three offers before attending Stetson.
The grad transfer averaged 8.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 31 contests as a senior for the Hatters.
Iona, now under the tutelage of former FDU head coaching darling Toben Anderson, posted a 27-8 overall record and went 17-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2022-23 campaign.
