Class of 2023 Eastern Florida State (Fla.) guard Eric Parnell has committed to Division I Hofstra Men’s basketball program, today he Tweeted. Parnell is a qualifier with three years of college basketball eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound Parnell averaged 10.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in 31 contests for the Titans this past season. He also shot 38 percent from beyond the arc and 80 percent from the charity stripe.
The Melbourne, Fla., native attended Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy (Florida).
EFS posted a 22-10 record and went 11-4 in Division I FCSAA/NJCAA action during the 2022-23 campaign.
Hofstra put up a 25-10 mark and went 16=2 in Colonial Athletic Conference play during this past year.
