Class of 2023 Rutgers Prep (N.J.) guard Cameron Piggeé will be staying close to home, as he has verbally committed to Division I New Jersey Institute of technology (NJIT) Men’s basketball program, yesterday NJ Panthers Tweeted.
Additionally, the 6-foot-2 Piggeé, who also played for the NJ Panthers AAU program, held an offer from Lafayette, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Piggeé averaged 14.6 points per game to go along with 41 steals and 72 rebounds in 23 contests during the 2022-23 season with the Argonauts.
The Highlanders posted a 7-23 record and went 4-12 in America East Conference (AEC) play in the 2022-23 campaign.
