Class of 2023 Hoosac School (N.Y.) and Swedish National Team wing Tunde Vahlberg Fasasi has verbally committed to Division I La Salle University Mens’ basketball program, yesterday he Tweeted.
The 6-foot-8 Stockholm, Sweden, native also held offers from Jacksonville, UIC, Montana State and UC Santa Barbara before committing to La Salle.
Fasasi helped Sweden advance to the semifinals of the FIBA U18 European Championship Division B, dropping in 28 points on 16 shots in 34 minutes. Before that, he averaged 1.7 points for Promitheas during the Euro Cup in 2021-22.
La Salle posted a 15-19 record and went 7-11 Atlantic 10 Conference action this past season.
