Ex-Little Rock guard Chris Walker is transferring to Division I Binghamton Bearcats Mens’ basketball program, yesterday he announced via Twitter that he verbally committed.
The 6-foot-6, 195-pound Wellington, Fla., native averaged 7.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 20.8 minutes per game. The redshirted freshman also shot 34.6 percent from the floor, 36.0 percent from three-point range and 67.7 percent from the charity stripe last season.
Walker was a McDonald’s All-American nominee at Wellington High School, first team all-conference selection and an honorable mention all-state tournament team member.
The Bearcats posted a 13-18 record and went 8-8 in America East Conference (AEC) action this past season.
