Former Lafayette forward and New Brunswick, N.J., native Josh Rivera is transferring to Fordham Rams Mens’ basketball program, today he Tweeted.
Rivera, a sophomore, ranked second on the Leopards with 339 total points (10.6 ppg) and 168 rebounds in 32 games — 22 of which were starts — in his first campaign with the team.
The 6-foot-7, 200-pound Rivera played three years at St. Thomas Aquinas, where he averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds per game in three seasons. He also spent one year at Putnam Science Academy.
Fordham posted a 25-8 overall record and went 12-6 in Atlantic 10 Conference action this past season.
