SI FerryHawks to Honor US Veterans, Active Military with Special Patriotic Frankie the FerryHawk Bobblehead

The Staten Island FerryHawks’ “Veterans Salute” game, presented by Tunnel 2 Towers, is set to take place on Sunday, July 23rd at 4 p.m.

The team’s mascot in bobblehead form as Frankie the FerryHawk.

To honor our country’s wonderful veterans and active-duty military personnel, the FerryHawks will be handing out a special military-themed Frankie the FerryHawk Bobblehead to the first 1,000 fans through the gates.

A portion of the ticket sales will go to benefit veterans service organizations.

The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller, who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. It also honors our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our beautiful country.
