The Lexington Counter Clocks have re-signed left-handed relief pitcher Edison Suriel for the upcoming 2023 Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB), yesterday the team announced.
Suriel, 24, spent part of the 2022 campaign with Lexington, posting a 3-2 record with a 4.08 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 17.2 innings of work in 12 games.
Before that, Suriel pitched for the Florida Marlins’ Single-A (Florida State League) Jupiter Hammerheads, recording a 1-5 mark 42.0 frames i 24 contests.
The Counter Clocks kickoff the season on Friday, April 28th at 6:45 against the York Revolution.
