The Gastonia Honey Hunters of the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) have signed left-handed pitcher Leoni De La Cruz for the upcoming 2023 season, yesterday the team Tweeted.
De La Cruz, 24, owns a career minor league ERA of 2.19 with 86 strikeouts to only 29 walks to go along with a 4-2 mark and seven saves in 70 innings of work across the last two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
The Honey Hunters open the season at home on Friday, April 28th, against Frederick.
