Christian Bliss, a 6-foot-4 junior guard/wing from the George School in Newtown, Pa., yesterday had received an offer from St. John’s University Mens’ basketball program, he Tweeted.
In addition to the Red Storm offer, the 185-pounder from New York City holds offers from Drexel, Stena, Saint Peter’s, Bryant, Delaware, Towson, Florida Gulf Coast, Manhattan, Xaiver, Villanova, Saint Joseph and Penn State, per Verbal Commits.com.
Bliss made the all-state boys’ basketball team in the non-profit Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) school classification last season.
St. John’s, now under new head coach Rick Pitino, posted an 18-15 overall record and went 7-13 in Big East Conference action in the 2022-23 campaign.
