Infielder Manuel Geraldo is returning to Lexington to play for the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball’s (ALPB) Counter Clocks this upcoming 2023 season, today the team Tweeted.
Geraldo, 26, hit .260 with seven homeruns and 44 RBI with 21 stolen bases in 398 at-bats in 109 games last season with the Lexington Legends.
A versatile infielder, Geraldo can man the shortstop, third base and second base positions.
The Dominican native last played in the Atlantic League in 2021 with the Gastonia Honey Hunters, posting a .264 batting average with seven longballs, 35 RBI and 10 base thefts in 231 at-bats in 72 contests.
In affiliated Major League Baseball, Geraldo has complied a .268 average with 23 dingers, 263 RBI and 126 stolen bases across seven professional campaigns.
