York Revolution Ink 3 Players: Capellan, Pantoja, Stafford for 2023 Season

The York Revolution of the Atlantic League has signed former Revs player Victor Capellan, and welcome Alexis Pantoja and Deon Stafford to the fold for the 2023 season, today the team announced via Twitter.

Capellan spent 2022 with the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League, tossing a 7-3 record with a 2.56 ERA in 56.1 innings pitched. He also saw action in the Dominican Winter League and the Nicaraguan Winter League with the Gigantes.

Capellan last played with York in 2021, going 3-3 with a 6:32 ERA.

Pantoja, an infielder, batted .250 with five home runs and 37 RBI in 272 at bats last season with the Kane County Cougars of the American Assocation.

A catcher and outfielder, Stafford hit .247 with eight dingers and 37 RBI in 255 at-bats last year with the Winnipeg Golden Eyes of the American Assocation.
