There has not been much Wagner High School’s Nicole Melious has not accomplished as an induvial basketball player in the 2022-23 season.
Well, add surpassing the 3000-point high school career mark in the Falcons’ 81-57 victory over Tottenville (14-4) last night on the road to her list.
Additionally, the La Salle commit is the nation’s leading girls’ high school scoring so far this season, holds the most career high school points on Staten Island, is the PSAL’s all-time leading scorer, and is a McDonald’s All-American nominee, among other achievements.
In the win, Melious pumped in 40 points, dished out 11 assists, and grabbed eight rebounds while junior Samantha Harrell contributed 16 points and junior Saniyah Wilkerson scored seven points, eight boards and six helpers.
Wagner (21-2) finishes the regular season Tuesday at home against New Dorp.
