Nicole Melious just continues to add to her hoop’s legend, as she drained 44 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out four assists in Wagner girls’ basketball team’s 94-30 victory over Petrides (4-8) Wednesday night at home.
A trio of juniors made significant contributions for the Falcons. Samantha Harrell dropped in 19 points and collected nine boards while Amanda Anderson and Saniyah Wilkerson contributed 13 points, four assists and four rebounds and eight helpers and eight rebounds, respectively, for Wagner (17-1).
A La Salle University commit, Melious has scored 2800 high school career points and has a shot at the 3000-point mark with six regular season games remaining on the slate, plus at least one playoff tilt.
