Wagner’s Nicole Melious continues to carve her name into the record book, as she drained a game-high 44 points, pacing the Falcons to a 91-64 PSAL non-league victory over South Bronx Prep (7-1) today at Cathedral High School, in Manhattan.
With the offensive output, Melious has totaled 2471 career high school points, surpassing Wanda Camps, who previously held the PSAL girls’ all-time scoring record with 2458 points.
Melious, who is committed to LaSalle, added 13 rebounds and 12 assists, while senior Alexis Anderson chipped in with eight points and 15 boards in the triumph.
Wagner improves its record to 10-1. The Falcons return to action tomorrow at 12:30 against Clinton at Cathedral High School.
