Senior guard Nicole Melious went off for game-bests 55 points and 16 rebounds and added eight assists and three steals in its 84-58 victory over Tottenville Tuesday at home.
Junior Samantha Harrell chipped in with 15 points and six boards and junior Saniyah Wilkerson had nine boards to help the Falcons (9-1, 6-0) pick up their ninth overall win of the season, even without the services of senior Alexis Anderson, who was sidelined due to the flu, according to a source.
Senior Abigail Schoenberg scored a team-leading 21 points for the Pirates (6-3, 2-1). Senior Ariel Ricca and junior Ava Loporcaro contributed 10 points each.
Melious is just 32 points away from the girls’ PSAL all-time scoring record.
