It was another magical performance for Wagner’s Nicole Melious, as she erupted for 57 points in the Falcons’ 91-56 victory over Curtis High School Wednesday night at Curtis (4-1).
Melious added 10 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks in Wagner’s (8-0, 5-0) victory.
The 17-year-old’s performance was so awe-inspiring, that Curtis fans swarmed her after the game for autographs.
Sophomore Jaylene Hubbard contributed 11 points, five boards and four helpers while junior Samantha Harrell added nine points and seven rebounds in the triumph. Junior Gabrielle Ross chipped in with ten boards of her own.
Wagner faces Manhattan’s the Dalton School in a non-league contest Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at Francis Lewis High School, in Queens.
