Wagner girls’ basketball team had three players score in double digits, with senior guard Nicole Melious leading the offensive charge in its 92-29 big victory over host Petrides High School (2-2) on Thursday night.
Melious dropped in 41 points while junior Samantha Harrell scored 20 and sophomore Jaylene Hubbard chipped in with 11 of her own.
Senior Alexis Anderson grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds and Melious added nine boards and six assists in the lopsided Falcons’ (6-0) victory.
In six games, the LaSalle commit is averaging 43.5 ppg, 13.5 rpg, six apg four spg. Her story is yet to be finished, as she is chasing 3000 career points.
