Melious’ 52 Upends Summit, Gives Her All-Time SI Leading HS Girls’ Scoring Title

Behind 52 points from senior Nicole Melious, Wagner girls’ basketball routed Summit Academy, 90-32, Saturday at home.

With the 52 points, Melious became Staten Island’s all-time leading scorer for girls’ high school hoops with 2175 points.

Additionally, the LaSalle commit grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out four assists in three quarters.

Melious also had 29 points, nine boards and nine helpers against Port Richmond in a 77-27 Falcon (4-0) victory on Friday night. Junior Samantha Harrell dropped in 25 points and pulled down five rebounds in the win.
