Class of 2025 Christ the King (N.Y.) guard Kiyan Anthony has received an offer from Division I Syracuse Mens’ basketball, yesterday he Tweeted.
Syracuse is the same university hoops program in which his dad, Carmelo Anthony, played at and won a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Men’s Basketball Championship with in 2003.
Additionally, Anthony holds offers from Manhattan, Memphis, Mason and Bryant.
The Royals boy’s and girl’s programs have produced several quality high school basketball players over the years, including ex-NBAers Lamar Odom and Speedy Clayton on the boys’ side and female WBNA greats Tina Charles, Chamique Holdsclaw and Sue Bird.
The Orange defeated Leigh, 90-72, in the season opener at home. Syracuse returns to action on Tuesday, November 15, as it hosts Colgate at 7:00 p.m.
