Class of 2023 Our Saviour Lutheran (N.Y.) and New Heights Lightning guard Christian Jones today has verbally committed to Division George Washington Men’s basketball program, per Tweets.
The 6-foot-3 Connecticut native held offers from D1 Charolette, Stony Brook, Temple, Providence, Iona, Drake, Fairfield, Seton Hall, Towson, Boston University, Vermont and St. Bonaventure.
The Colonials tipoff the season on Sunday, October 30 at home against Western Connecticut State. George Washington posted a 12-18 overall record and went 8-9 in Atlantic 10 Conference play in the 2021-22 campaign.
