Paul VI High School junior point guard Shariah Baynes has picked up a Division I offer from Monmouth University Women’s basketball program, today she Tweeted.
Additionally, the 5-foot-6 Philly Rise EYBL dynamic player holds offers from Towson, Saint Joseph, Norfolk State, Delaware State, James Madison, Florida and DePaul, per her Twitter account.
Baynes enjoyed a solid year with the Eagles, as she dropped in 159 points, made 35 steals and dished out 74 assists last season.
The Hawks open up the 2022-23 campaign on Monday, November 7th versus St. John’s in Queens, N.Y. Monmouth posted 14-16 overall record and went 9-11 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) last season. But the Hawks have joined the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) this year.
