Class of 2023 D1 JUCO Harcum College Bear (Pa.) and former Brooklyn Collegiate wing Amahrie Simpkins has received an offer from Division I Coastal Carolina Men’s basketball program, today his college coach, John Ball, Tweeted.
Additionally, Simpkins, who also attended Believe Prep Academy, holds an offer from Tarleton State.
Simpkins averaged 15.80 points, 5.85 rebounds, and 3.35 assists per game in 14 contests with the Lions during the 2019-20 regular season. He added an average of 16.25 points, 7.75 boards, and 3.75 helpers in four games in the PSAL playoffs before the New York City Board of Education (BOE) shut down the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Bears posted a 27-2 overall record in the 2021-22 campaign.
