Class of 2023 Our Saviour Lutheran (N.Y.) guard Ty-Laur Johnson has received an offer from Division I NC State, per recruiting Tweets.
Additionally, the 6-foot, 160-pound former St. Benedict’s Prep (NJ) player holds offers from Fordham, Pitt, VCU, Ole Miss, Creighton, Seton Hall and St. John’s, according to VerbalCommits.com.
The Newark, N.J., native drained team-bests with 388 points and 64 steals while grabbing 66 boards and dishing out 122 helpers this past season.
Johnson dropped in 103 points, pulled down ten rebounds, dished out six assists, and made seven steals in 14 contests in his freshman year (2019-20) at St. Benedict’s Prep.
Johnson also plays AAU hoops for the NY Renaissance.
NC State posted a 11-21 mark and went 4-16 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) action last year.
