Class of 2023 Teaneck High School (N.J.) forward Tyler Tejada has verbally committed to Division I Towson Tigers Men’s basketball program, per hoops recruiting Tweets today.
Tejada also held offers from D1 programs such as Robert Morris, LIU Brooklyn, Rider and Fairfield.
Additionally, the 6-foot-8 Teaneck, New Jersey, native grabbed a team-high 188 rebounds while draining 297 points last season.
With his size and room to develop, both physically and mentally, Tejada, who also suited up for the NJ ShoreShots AAU Boy’s program, will provide Towson with solid versatility on the offensive and defensive fronts, per high school and college hoops recruiting analyst.
The Tigers posted a 25-9 record and went 15-3 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) play in the 2021-22 campaign.
