2023 Roselle Catholic (N.J.) and New Heights Lightning NYC four-star forward Akil Watson has verbally committed to Arizona State Men’s basketball, today social media national recruiting expert Joe Tipon Tweeted.
Additionally, the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Middletown, N.Y., native held offers from DePaul, Cincinatti, Florida State, USC, Maryland, Miami, Illinois, Providence, UConn, Georgetown, Creighton, Auburn, Seton Hall, Nebraska, and St. John’s.
The senior drained 358 points and grabbed a team-best 193 rebounds for the Lions last season.
