Class of 2023 Taryn and Taylor Barbot twins of St. Mary’s College Preparatory High School (N.Y.) and New Heights NYC 17U squad have verbally committed to the Division I College of Charleston Cougars Women’s basketball program, yesterday it was Tweeted by their joint account run by their dad.
Both Taryn and Taylor are 5-foot-8 gifted guards with dazzling handles, sweet shots, tenacious defenders and get to the basket and score, even in traffic. The best part is that they play very well off of each other.
Taryn, however, seems to have the edge when it comes to long-range shooting.
Nevertheless, you would be hard-pressed to find a talented tandem like the Barbot twins.
The Cougars host Meredith on November 7th at TD Areana in the season opener. Charleston posted an 18-13 overall record and went 9-9 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference in the 2021-22 campaign.
