Jaylin Hartman of Blair Academy and EYBL Philly Rise has verbally committed to George Women’s basketball program, today she Tweeted.
Her dad Todd Hartman, head boy’s basketball coach at Hanover Park High School, said she held offers from Seton Hall, Maryland, Harvard, UPenn, Rutgers, Northeastern, and Rhode Island, among other D1 hoops programs.
A 6-foot-2 guard, Hartman dropped in a team-best 287 points for the Buccaneers last season. But that is just part of Hartman’s hoops prowess, as the long and lean player has developed into one of the best defenders in New Jersey, if not all of the nation.
George Washington posted a 13-18 record and went 4-11 in Atlantic 10 Conference action in the 2021-22 campaign.
