NJ Native, D2 Guard Returns Home to Rider College Hoops

Former Division II Lincoln University (Pa.) guard Zahrion Blue is transferring to D1 Rider Men’s basketball program, yesterday Ari Rosenfeld Tweeted.

Blue, who has a year remaining of eligibility, was the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Player of the Year in 21-22, averaging 18.9 points per game.

Rider put up a 14-19 mark and went 8-12 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) this past season.

The Lions posted a 18-10 record and went 11-5 in CIAA action in the 2021-22 campaign.
