Karly Fischer of Albertus Magnus (N.Y.) and Empire State Basketball Club has committed to Division I Fairfield University Women’s basketball program, today she tweeted.
A rising senior, Fischer had numerous offers to from which to choose before landing at Fairfield, including Richmond, George Washington, Boston, George Washington, St. John’s, St. Bonaventure, Bryant, Bucknell, Charleston, Manhattan, Monmouth, Pitt, UNCW, Providence, CWM, Stony Brook, North Florida, Marist. Delaware and UMass, among others.
The Stags posted a 25-7 record and went 19-1 in Metro Athletic Assocation Conference (MAAC) action, winning their conference and thusly making the NCAA Tournament this past season.
