The Patrick School (N.J.) guard/forward and New York native Seck Zongo has committed to Division I Northern Illinois Men’s basketball program today, per Tweets.
The 6-foot-6, 195-pound rising senior chose Northern Illinois over seven other schools, according to VerbalCommits.com. Among those colleges were IUPUI, Long Beach State, North Carolina A&T, Manhattan, Robert Morris, Saint Joesph’s and Fordham.
Zongo, who shined with Team Diffrnt this spring and summer, had suited up for Whitehall-Yearling High School (Ohio) as a junior, and Murry Bergtraum (PSAL-Manhattan) in the 2019-20 season.
However, I am not sure where he played as a sophomore.
The Huskies posted a 9-21 mark and went 6-14 in Mid-American Conference action this past season.
