Class of 2026 Chidi Nwigwe has picked up an offer from a school close to his home in Jersey City, N.J., as Rutgers Men’s basketball has offered the Bergen Catholic High School guard, today Andrew Slater Tweeted.
Additionally, the incoming freshman, who also plays AAU Hoops for the Riverside Hawks, holds offers from Illionois, Fordham, St. Bonaventure and Georgia Tech, per VerbalComitts.com.
Nwigwe has been called a three-level scorer with an advanced feel for the game, especially for someone his age.
The Scarlet Knights posted a 18-14 record and went 12-8 in Big 10 action in the 2021-22 campaign.
