Jeff McNeil Returns, Ender Inciarte Designated for Assignment

The New York Mets have designated infielder Ender Inciarte for assignment, as second baseman Jeff McNeil, who was recently named a National League All-Star, returns from paternity leave, today Newsday’s Tim Healey Tweeted.

Ender Inciarte designated for assignment.

Inciarte went 1-8 with a run score while with the Mets.
