Ex-Port Richmond Forward Luther Bolden Headed to Ulster County CC Hoops

Luther Bolden of Staten Island’s Port Richmond High School basketball team has been welcomed by Ulster County Community College (UCCC) Men’s basketball program, today the school Tweeted.

Bolden averaged 10.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in three regular season games with the Red Raiders. Additionally, the 6-foot-7 shot-blocking forward posted 9.75 points and 6.25 boards per contest in four PSAL Staten Island Class “A” playoff tilts.

Port Richmond went 8-10, including the postseason, this past campaign.

The Senators, who are a NJCAA Division 2 JUCO, Region 15 program that plays in the Mid-Hudson Conference, posted a 1-17 overall record.
